Well, January was a month filled with rushing here, rushing there, and not getting any where. I have spent time digi scrapping, working on cross stitching my third angel, and finally have the 3rd banner printed sitting on my desk to cool before I go over it again and begin to stitch it. I am working to finish up 6 small pieces for Q F O C. I have been doing some challenges also on the scrap garden and moo two, plus working on calenders for next year. So that was part of January, the rest of the time has been spent rushing from one doctor to another. It was found I have a heart blockage, no worries, will see cardiologist in April, my right eye was annoying me, and I was beginning to have more trouble seeing, so went to the eye doctor, were a scratch was found on the right eye pupil. After a week of eye drops, it was hoped it would heal, but it did not and now I'm off to see another eye doctor who deals with tis type of problem. January in brief. It's been cold, so cold that arthritis has hurt me so bad there are some days I just can't stand to go outside. We haven't had any more snow but lots of cold temps and rain. More rain on the way for the last week in this month. I plan to make this a short update as I want to review a few things for Moo Two, Q F O C and the A Q P.
Well now remember that Quilts for Older Children has moved to Yahoo Groups and can be found there . They have many older children and seniors in need of stitching love, so if your a cross stitch and should like to do something for someone else drop into each of the below charities.

The Angel Quilt Project is starting year nine, we are all busy stitching up panels for quilts for either Nic units or cancer children, cuddle cushions and praying for financial help in this most stress filled time for every family out there. Jobs are at a minimum and premium so we can understand the need to account for every penny coming into a family. We thank all who continue to stitch, and support this group faithfully.

If you can't afford money have time on your hands and do cross stitch, machine embroidery or quilt at home drop in to see if you might like to help either one of these groups.
Well, if you have any would be NBA players out there, or an Atlanta Hawk who are on the courts right now and you've found yourself with quite a number of photo's to scrap on your computer, I can truly recommend this kit from Moo Two by Gloria Val Verde called Slam Dunk . I recently acquired this kit and have found it perfect for those baskeball shots of Will, shooting for the net not rim. Bailey heading down court with a studyied dripple, bounce it girl, bounce it, Mason and Brianna has games coming up and I'm ready for them now. I will be spending a Saturday soon all day at the games, my digital camera with fresh batteries an empty card and ready to shoot in between cheering the teams on. Slam Dunk by Gloria Val Verde at MooTwo sells for $4.00, for that sum you acquire: Papers, Frames, Tags,Doodles, Basketballs,Team Bus, and a Basketball Court well worth the price. http://www.mootwodesigns.com/mooTwoStore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2420
